Cheesy Hash Brown Skillet Recipe is the perfect breakfast or dinner side dish with potatoes and a delicious alternative to home fries.
– hash browns – Mexican cheese – red or yellow peppers – green peppers – salsa – green chilies – heavy cream – cumin
To prepare a pepper and hash brown skillet, cook peppers in oil until softened. Add hash browns, salsa, and green chilies, and cook for 5 minutes. Mix in 1/2 cup of cheese and heavy cream, then cook covered for 6-7 minutes, stirring often.
Uncover, add remaining cheese and cumin, cover, and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Serve the dish topped with cilantro, jalapeños, lime juice, and your preferred toppings.
