Instant Pot Candied Nuts

Instant Pot Candied Nuts are super addictive! They make great holiday gifts if you can stop yourself from eating them all. Good luck with that!

Your going to fall in love with these Instant Pot Candied Nuts!  We used pecans for Instant Pot Candied Nuts but you can use any kind of nuts you like.  We have used walnuts and almonds before. I have to say I LOVED the walnuts! Mixed nuts are great too.

I mean really any nuts are great made this way. Maple syrup and cinnamon and sugar are so yummy together. 

We use a 6 quart instant pot . It’s a great size for everything from family meals to desserts. 

 

I used to make nuts in the oven and the recipes is delicious but it involved watching the nuts too much for me. This is so much easier and quicker. I’m all about saving on time. 

 

Instant Pot Candied Nuts really make a great gift. package them in a cello bag with a ribbon. It’s a great small gift for teachers, mail carrier ect.  Add a bag to a bottle of wine when your visiting friends during the holidays. 

How To Make Instant Pot Candied Nuts: 

 

Ingredients:
4 C pecan halves
2/3 C pure Maple syrup
1/2 C water (room temp)
1/2 TBSP vanilla
1/2 TBSP cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cayenne pepper

Coating: 
1 cup Sugar 
1 cup Brown sugar

++ May substitute Truvia baking sugar and brown sugar for a healthy option ++

 

Directions:
Turn the Instant Pot onto saute.
Add the pecans, syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, cayenne pepper and salt.
Saute the ingredients until your pecans are tender. (5-10 minutes)
Stir consistently .
Turn the Instant Pot off when the pecans are tender.
Add the water and select manual high pressure while setting the timer for 10 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees and prep the baking pan by lining it with parchment paper.
Perform a quick release on your Instant Pot when the timer goes off. 
Pour the nuts in a single layer on the baking pan.
Bake the nuts at 375 degrees for 5 minutes. 
Take the baking sheet with the nuts on it from the oven. 
Flip the baked nuts over and return them back to the oven for an additional 5 minutes. 
Remove the baking sheet from the oven to cool completely.

Coating: 
In a large storage container add your sugar and brown sugar. 
Stir to combine 
Add 1/4 of your pecans to the sugar mixture. 
Place the lid on and seal. 
Shake to combine. 
Add more nuts. 
Repeat steps until all nuts are coated.

 

These nuts are so delicious! I’m sure everyone will love them. And you will love how easy they are to make.
