I have died and gone to heaven! This is absolutely amazing. When it comes to chocolate and peanut butter I have no control.
Chocolate and peanut butter cheesecake layers with a chocolate ganache and Oreo crust should be one of the things you add to your must bake list. This Peanut Butter Cup Cheesecake is amazing and will disappear right before your very eyes.
This cheesecake is really easy to make. You can do it.
Cookie crumbs and butter mixed together and put in the bottom of the pan. See it’s starting off easy. Quick tip…use parchment paper in the springform pan. It comes right off after the cheesecake is done.
Start with the peanut butter layer next. Beat the ingredients until creamy. See another easy step. I got you covered.
Now to step it up another notch. The chocolate layer is made on the stove. But it’s easy, I promise. Melt the chips. Add the cream cheese and stir until melted. Stir in the rest. Not too hard is it? Then you just layer the chocolate and peanut butter layers on the crust. Pop it in the oven for 55-65 minutes and your done.
Well, almost done. It still has to cool completely, and it needs to be pretty-fied. I know you can do it though. Honestly, waiting to cut into this is the hardest part!!!!
One more quick baking tip. I always put a large baking sheet full of hot water on the rack under the cheesecake while it is baking. The moisture from the water keeps the cheesecake from cracking.
I also remove the cheesecake from the oven right away when it is done cooking. Just my two cents on how to bake a cheesecake…you do it how you like best.
Now what are you doing here? Get your butt up and go to the store for all the ingredients to make this. If the chocolate chips and peanut butter cups go missing…check the closet. Someone might have had a “day” and needed to hide for a bit.
