Ingredients

Rice Krispie Treats

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 10 ounces mini marshmallows
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal

Icing

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons milk
  • Peppermint extract optional

Decorations

  • Black round sprinkles eyes
  • Orange jimmies nose
  • Black jimmies smile
  • Red or green round sprinkles buttons
  • Sour ropes or sour tape candy scarves
  • Starlight peppermint candies earmuffs

Instructions

Make the Rice Krispie Treats:

  • Melt butter in a large pot over low heat. Stir in marshmallows until smooth and melted. Mix in Rice Krispies cereal until everything is coated.
