These Snow Cone Truffles are the perfect treat for a hot summer day! Made with Oreos, cream cheese, and white chocolate you don’t even have to turn on the oven to enjoy them.
– Golden Oreo cookies – Cream cheese – White chocolate candy melts – Sanding sugars
Use a cookie scoop to form uniform sized balls and place them on a parchment paper lined tray. Use your hands to roll each scoop to make a smooth ball (as possible).
Place the tray in the freezer to chill firm up. Melt the wafers in a microwave safe bowl until smooth. Using a fork (or a skewer) dip each ball into the melted chocolate and let the excess drip off.
Roll in sanding sugar while the chocolate is still wet so the sugar will stick to the truffle. Set the truffle back on the parchment paper to set. Repeat until all the truffles are coated.
After the chocolate has set, gently flip the mold over and remove the completed flowers. Reheat the chocolate in the bowls and repeat until all the daisy Oreos have been made.
