These German Chocolate Brownies taste just like the classic cake, but in handheld form.

– Cocoa powder – Semi-sweet chocolate chips – butter – Eggs – Vanilla

Mix flour, salt, and cocoa powder in a small bowl. Melt chocolate chips and butter in a double boiler setup, stirring frequently.

Once melted, add sugar, then gradually whisk in eggs and vanilla. Fold in flour mixture. Pour into a greased 9x13 pan and bake.

For frosting, heat milk, egg yolks, and sugar until thickened. Remove from heat, add vanilla, coconut, and pecans, then spread over cooled brownies.
