These Cafeteria Rolls are the perfect addition to any meal. Whether you’re serving them alongside a hearty soup or as buttery dinner rolls with a holiday feast, these soft and fluffy rolls are sure to be a hit.

– warm water – granulated sugar – active dry yeast – milk – large eggs – salt – all-purpose flour – shortening – butter

To prepare these delicious rolls, start by mixing warm water and sugar in a bowl, then add yeast and let it stand for 10 minutes. Whisk in milk, eggs, and salt. In another bowl, combine flour, sugar, and crumbled shortening. Gradually stir the flour mixture into the wet ingredients. Let the dough rise until doubled in size.

After doubling, knead in melted butter, then divide the dough into 24 pieces and shape into balls. Place 12 balls in each greased pan and let them double in size. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden. Serve and enjoy!
