JALAPENO POPPER PIGS IN A BLANKET

Jalapeno Popper Pigs in a Blanket combine two of everyone’s favorite appetizers into the ultimate snack. Smoked sausages, jalapeno peppers, and popper filling are wrapped in crescent dough and baked until melty and golden.

– Lil’ Smokies – Pillsbury Cresent Rounds  – Jalapenos  – Cream cheese  – Sharp cheddar  – Bacon – Cajun seasoning – Garlic powder – Black pepper

To prepare these appetizers, preheat the oven to 350°F. Cut both crescent doughs in half to make 16 strips. In a bowl, beat cream cheese, then add shredded cheddar, crumbled bacon, and seasonings, mixing well.

Cut jalapenos into quarters. Fill each jalapeno piece with the cream cheese mixture and place a lil’ smokie on top. Wrap with a dough strip and arrange on a baking sheet.

Bake for 17-18 minutes or until golden brown. Serve immediately after removing from the oven.
