RUM CAKE

This Easy Rum Cake is sweet, delicious, and a great treat for any occasion. The combination of moist cake, rum glaze, and crunchy nuts make it irresistible.

– yellow cake mix – instant vanilla pudding mix – large eggs – water – vegetable oil – rum – chopped pecans

To make a pecan bundt cake, preheat the oven to 325 degrees and thoroughly grease and flour a bundt cake pan. Sprinkle pecans on the pan's bottom. Mix all cake ingredients in a large bowl and pour the batter into the pan.

Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour. For the glaze, melt butter in a saucepan, add water and sugar, bring to a boil for 4-5 minutes, then stir in rum. After baking, immediately drizzle 1/3 of the glaze on the cake.

After 10-15 minutes, invert the cake onto a plate, poke it with a fork, and drizzle the remaining glaze. Allow the cake to cool completely before slicing and serving.
