Ingredients
4cupsfresh corn, cut from the cob, or frozen corn
¼cupbutter
1cupcelery, thinly sliced
2cupspotatoes, cubed
2 ¾cupshot water
2cups light ccream
2cupshalf and half
salt and pepper to taste
¼cupflour
1tspsugar ( optional) you may not need this if your using fresh corn
9 slicesbacon
Instructions
In a large pot cook onions and celery in butter until soft. Add flour to veggies and stir around a few minutes. Add water and let cook for a minute or so. Add potatoes, corn, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer until potatoes are soft, about 30 minutes or so. Add light cream half and half. Heat until it starts thickening up. Continue stirring. At this point taste to see if you would want to add sugar and sat and pepper.
