Reindeer Cookies

These Reindeer Cookies are a fun and tasty holiday snack that everyone enjoys. Peanut butter cookies are decorated with pretzels, chocolate chips, and dried cranberries to create adorable little reindeer.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2/3 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 96 chocolate chips
  • 48 pretzels carefully cut in half with a serrated knife or broken in half
  • Dried cranberries
  • 1 small tube white gel icing for eyes

Instructions

  • Mix butter and peanut butter, add sugar. Add egg and mix.
  • Mix the flour with baking soda, baking powder and baking soda.
  • Mix the wet ingredients with dry ingredients.
  • Form dough balls, flatten cookies with your fingers.
  • Put the cookies on a parchment lined baking sheet.
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Bake cookies for 10 minutes.
  • Once the cookies have cooled a few minutes, place the chocolate chips for eyes (make sure to place the chocolate chip with the point facing the cookie so the flat side is up) and little white dots in the middle of the chocolate chip to make the pupil for the eyes. Dried cranberry for nose and broken pretzel for antlers.
