Ingredients
1/2 cup of Bailey's Red Velvet Cupcake
1 1/2 cups of Boiling Water
1/4 Cup of Sugar
2 Envelopes of Unflavored Gelatin
5 drops of Red Food Coloring Gel - a couple more drops if you want a deeper Red color
TO TOP:
1 Bag of Pillsbury Vanilla Frosting - this is already prepared Frosting, in a piping bag with a Tip
Instructions
Boil the Water, and pour it in a large measuring cup with a spout. Sprinkle the Gelatin over the water, and let the gelatin bloom for 15 minutes, until completely dissolved.
Stir well, and add the Bailey's Red Velvet Cupcake. Stir to combine until well mixed. Add the Sugar and the food coloring and stir until Sugar dissolves.
Place Shot Glasses on a small tray or cookie sheet, and pour the Gelatin mixture into the Shot Glasses, filling them. Place in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours. Place the Frosting in a bag in the Refrigerator to cool.
When ready to serve, remove the Jello shots from the Refrigerator, and the Frosting. Pipe a generous amount of Frosting on the tops of the Jello Shots serve, and Enjoy!
Notes
NOTE:Regarding the prepared Frosting: The Frosting comes in a box, and you can find it on the Baking Isle in the grocery store. It's already in a piping bag, with a tip. All you do is open the Box, and pipe the Frosting onto desired dessert, or Jello Shot. Placing the Frosting in the Refrigerator to chill will keep it from melting as quickly, rather than not chilled. If you can't find this frosting use any vanilla premade frosting and a pastry bag with a star tip.
