Slow Cooker Blueberry Cobbler

This slow cooker blueberry cobbler is amazing and it is also an easy dessert recipe that will wow your friends and family.

Equipment

Ingredients

  • cups Blueberries- fresh or frozen
  • ½ cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 box White cake mix
  • ½ teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup Light brown sugar
  • ½ cup Unsalted butter- thinly sliced

Instructions

  • Start by turning the slow cooker on high.
  • Add in 4 cups of the blueberries and the granulated sugar.
  • Mix well until the blueberries are evenly coated.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the cake mix, cinnamon, and brown sugar.
  • Sprinkle evenly on top and DO NOT MIX.
  • Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of blueberries on top.
  • Evenly distribute the slices of butter on top.
  • Place on the lid and allow to cook for 2½ - 3 hours or until the cake is golden brown.
  • Once golden, scoop out a serving and serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Notes

Notes: This recipe is not limited to one cake mix flavor. Feel free to experiment and follow the same directions. I recommend trying a chocolate or spiced cake mix.
