Jalapeno Popper Pinwheels

Jalapeno Popper Pinwheels are the perfect appetizer for your next party! Made with cream cheese, jalapenos, and cheddar cheese, these pinwheels are sure to be a hit!

Equipment

  • medium bowl or large bowl
  • Spoon
  • parchment paper
  • Cookie sheet
  • sharp serrated knife

Ingredients

  • 2 tube of crescent rolls
  • 16 ounces cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 8 ounce can of diced jalapeño peppers
  • 1 tablespoon Granulated sugar

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, mix together softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, diced
  • jalapenos, and sugar until well combined.
  • Roll out 1 roll of crescent dough, pinching seams together.
  • Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the dough.
  • Roll up dough into a log shape.
  • Repeat with second tube of crescent dough.
  • Freeze for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  • Meanwhile, preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Use a sharp knife or floss to slice the log into 12 rounds.
  • Place rounds 2 inches apart on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and place on cooling rack.
  • Serve warm or room temperature.
