M&M Brownies

These super-rich M&Ms brownies are fudgy, loaded with mini chocolate chip, and topped with chocolate frosting and mini M&Ms.

Ingredients

For the Brownies

  • ½ cup butter partially melted
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 ½ cup sugar
  • cup cocoa powder
  • ½ cup all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

For the Chocolate Frosting

  • ½ cup butter
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 5 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup mini-M&M’s

Instructions

For the Brownies:

  • Preheat the oven to 325 F (165 C).
  • Put the cupcake papers to the baking tray.
  • Place the butter into a mixing bowl and microwave until it partially melted.
  • Add the sugar and vegetable oil to butter and mix until it well combined.
  • Add the vanilla extract and eggs one by one and continue to mix.
  • Then add the dry ingredients (flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking powder and chocolate chips) and mix until it combined well.
  • Put the mixture to each paper and bake for 30 minutes.
  • After it baked move from the oven and let it cool down for 35 minutes

For the Frosting:

  • Place the butter into small saucepan and cook until it melted. Then add the cocoa powder.
  • Whisk until it is smooth. Remove from the heat and transfer to a medium size mixing bowl.
  • Let it cool, then add milk, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar.
  • Mix it until you reached to your desired consistency.
  • Frost over the cooled brownies and garnish with the mini-M&M’s.
