These Strawberry Cinnamon Rolls are easy to make and are full of sweet strawberry flavor. They are the perfect way to start off the day with a sweet treat.

Ingredients

  • 3 ½ cups all purpose flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoon active dry yeast
  • cup sugar
  • teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 5 tablespoons warm water
  • cup milk
  • cup butter

Filling ingredients

  • 11 ounces strawberry pie filling or jam
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries
  • 1 ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Glaze

  • 5 ounces cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 ½ tablespoon lemon zest
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Melt butter in a small saucepan and cool.
  • In a large bowl, mix all the dry ingredients for the dough.
  • Add eggs, milk, butter, water.
  • Knead the dough and place in a warm place for 1 hour.
  • Roll out the dough. Add sugar, cinnamon, fresh chopped strawberries, strawberry jam.
  • Roll up the roll.
  • Cut the roll into 10-12 pieces, place on a baking sheet, cover and let rise for an hour.
  • Bake in 350F oven for 35-40 minutes.
  • Prepare the glaze - whisk together all the ingredients for the glaze.
  • Drizzle glaze over rolls.
  • Serve
