Green Beans with Garlic and Sun-Dried Tomatoes

This is my favorite way to make green beans. The garlic and sun-dried tomatoes go perfectly together!

  • 1 lb green beans trimmed
  • 2 teaspoon olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoon sun-dried tomato soaked in water for 20 minutes and diced
  • 1 cup water
  •  sea salt and pepper to taste


  1. Heat oil in large skillet. Add garlic  and tomatoes.
  2. Cook on low heat until very fragrant, about 2 minutes.
  3. Add beans and coat with garlic mixture.
  4. Add water and bring to boil.
  5. Cook, uncovered until water evaporates and beans are glazed with garlic mixture.  This should take about 10 minutes or so.
  6. Stir occasionally during cooking. Season with sea salt and pepper to taste
