Mustard Chicken Tenders

Mustard Chicken Tenders -  Just a few simple ingredients and in barely any  time and you will have a delicious  dinner.  The chicken is tender and full of flavor. It is a family favorite.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 2 eggs beaten well
  • 1 tbsp Spicy brown mustard
  • 1/2 cup flour for dredging
  • vegetable oil for frying
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken tenders with salt and pepper.  

    Spread a thin layer of spicy brown mustard on top.

     Dredge the chicken strip in flour. Shake off excess flour. Then dip in egg.

    Fry in a about 2 tbsp of vegetable oil on medium heat for about 3 minutes on each side.  Do not overcook or they will be dry. Add more oil if needed. 

    Remove to a paper towel lined plate as the chicken is cooked to absorb the excess oil.
