Easy Herb Onion Crusted Chicken

This simple Easy Herb Onion Crusted Chicken recipe is a go to dinner for us. It is one of our favorite meals and takes just minutes to put together.

Ingredients

  • 5-6 chicken breast, cut into pieces
  • 3 tbsp butter melted
  • ¼ tsp mustard powder
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 3 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 container French-fried onions crushed

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Lightly crush the entire can of French Fried Onions and put into a shallow pan. Add, mustard powder,black pepper, garlic powder,and fresh parsley.
  • Beat eggs and coat chicken with eggs.
  • Place chicken breasts one at a time in crushed onions and press down to coat the onions to the chicken, turn over and press again, pat onions against all sides of the chicken pieces.
  • Place chicken in a lightly greased 13-by-9-inch baking dish - if any crushed onions remain, put them equally on top of the chicken breasts.
  • Pour melted butter  over chicken
  • Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until chicken is cooked through. I flip chicken after about 20-25 minutes to get both sides evenly browned
