Mix together dressing first and set aside making sure sugar is dissolved completely.
Cook pasta according to box directions. I like mine al dente.
While pasta is cooking cut the vegetables for the pasta salad and place them in a med- large bowl. Large enough to mix the pasta salad.
When pasta is cooked drain pasta well and rinse under cold water.
Add pasta the vegetables . Mix together. Then pour dressing over pasta a little at a time.
You may find you like your pasta salad with a little less dressing. You can always add more. Toss pasta salad as your pouring the dressing.
We normally chill the pasta salad for a few hours and sometimes overnight.
This recipe can easily be doubled or add more vegetables!
