Cinnamon Blondies

Cinnamon Blondies - Thick, soft and chewy with a cinnamon sugar topping these hard to resist bars are incredible!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups brown sugar, packed
  • 1 ⅓ cups butter
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 4 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tbsp vanilla

Topping

  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a 4 quart saucepan cook and stir brown sugar and butter over medium heat about 6 minutes or until melted and smooth. cool 10 minutes. 
    2.Meanwhile line a 9 x 13 inch baking pan 1ith foli, extending the foil over the edges. Grease foil. In a medium bowl stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon. stir eggs and vanilla into brown sugar mixture. Stir in flour mixture. Spread in prepared pan. 
    3. Bake 45 minutes. Cool slightly in pan on a wire rack. Cool completely. Melt butter and brush over the top of blondies then sprinkle the cinnamon sugar over the top. 
    Use foil to lift uncut bars out of pan. Cut into bars Makes 36 bars.
