Ingredients

Crust

  • 1 cup butter softened
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • ½ teaspoons salt

Cherry layer:

  • 21 ounces cherry pie filling

Cheesecake layer:

  • 16 ounces cream cheese softened
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoons vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • ¼ cup sour cream

Streusel topping:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup butter softened

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9” x 13” pan with cooking spray and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add in the flour and salt and beat until it starts to form a ball.
  • Press into an even layer on the bottom of the pan.
  • In a large bowl, beat the 2 blocks of cream cheese with the sugar until it’s smooth.
  • Add in the eggs, vanilla, flour and sour cream and beat thoroughly for about a minute until creamy.
  • Spread over the crust and set aside.
  • Spoon the cherry pie filling evenly over the top of the cheesecake layer and gently smooth it, even creating swirls if desired.
  • In a small bowl, crumble the butter into the brown sugar and flour.
  • Sprinkle it over the top of everything.
  • Place in the oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
  • Remove and allow to cool to room temperature before chilling 2-3 hours before cutting into bars.
