Slow Cooker Beef Burgundy

Slow Cooker Beef Burgundy- Always a family favorite! Made in the slow cooker with a just a handful of pantry  ingredients. It’s a simple, easy to make meal !

Slow Cooker Beef Burgundy  is probably one of the first slow cooker meals that I made years ago. It is a simple and easy meal.  I love that you can use just a few ingredients and , throw and go in the slow cooker and 8 hours later dinner is ready. You will have an amazingly tender and flavorful dinner that the whole family will love.

Just a few pantry ingredients and some good wine (which I always have in my pantry ) and you have a great meal.  You can prepare everything the night before if you like also. Just don’t add the wine until the morning when your ready to start. It’s all pretty easy.

First you add the stew beef to the crock pot, then add the quartered mushrooms, cream of mushroom soup, Lipton Onion Soup, garlic, Worcestershire sauce and red wine. Stir it all around and let it cook in the slow cooker for 8-10 hours.

I remember the first time I made this thinking “hmm it sure smells good but it doesn’t look that great” lol  Well once we tasted it, we were wowed!  It really has an amazing flavor. The beef is so tender and the wine brings all the flavors together. Such a simple meal with such amazing flavors.

Make this yummy meal  once and it will be on your regular rotation!

As I am allergic to mushrooms, what can I substitute for the cream of mushroom soup?

    1. I think cream of celery would work. It wouldn’t have the exact flavor but I think it would be tasty.

  2. If I switched to chicken would the cook time be the same?

    1. Depending on your slow cooker it would be very simila1r
