Sweet and Salty Frito Bars are so easy to make. The hardest part is bringing the sugar and light corn syrup to a boil. That is the only part that involves any work really. The rest is a cinch.

First you pour the Fritos in a 9 x 13 inch baking dish that you line with parchment paper. That makes it a lot easier to remove the bars and keeps your baking dish clean.

Then you put your sugar and light corn syrup in a medium non stick pan and cook until it comes to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter. Pour over Fritos.

Melt chocolate chips in a microwave safe dish with a capful of oil for about 30 seconds. Stir and place back in microwave if you need to and check every 15 seconds. Making sure not to over cook to chocolate chips.  Pour over Frito and peanut butter mixture and let cool.
