Fresh peaches give this bread its fantastic flavor. Don’t skimp on using fresh fruit; it will make all the difference!

Variations

  • Frozen peaches: If you don’t have fresh peaches on hand, frozen peaches can be used in a pinch. Just make sure to thaw them completely before using and drain any excess liquid.

Expert Tips

  • For the best texture, don’t overmix the batter. Stir just until the ingredients are combined to keep the bread light and fluffy.
  • Allow the bread to cool completely before adding the glaze. This helps the glaze stay in place and gives your loaf a polished finish.
  • Store leftover bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days, or refrigerate for a longer shelf life.
