Cheesy Baked Asparagus – A blend of cheeses and spices give this delicious baked asparagus its perfectly delicious flavor!

Asparagus happens to be one of our favorite vegetables. We love that it’s always in season and readily available. Of course sometimes we just saute it with some butter or olive oil and garlic or steam it and add some spices but usually we bake it and add some cheese or garlic or some spices.

Cheesy Baked Asparagus cooks up perfectly every time and is so simple to make.  Plus it’s great if you are are watching your carbs.

A blend of cheeses and spices give this delicious baked asparagus its perfectly delicious flavor!

Ingredients
  • 1 bunch asparagus, ends trimmed
  • 3 tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
  1. Line a baking sheet with  tinfoil. Place the asparagus on the baking sheet and drizzle with the melted butter.


    Sprinkle onion powder, garlic powder and pepper then Parmesan cheese over the top of asparagus.

    Place in a 400 degree oven for 10 minutes.

    Remove and top with the mozzarella cheese. 

    Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to melt the cheese.
