Cheesy Oven Roasted Broccoli

Cheesy Oven Roasted Broccoli is SO simple to make too! Just wash the broccoli then let it dry well. I usually wash mine in the morning so I make sure it’s good and dry. Then slice the broccoli heads, season with sea salt, pepper and garlic powder on both. 

Cook the Cheesy Oven Roasted Broccoli in a preheated 375 oven for about 10- 15 minutes then flip it over and cook 5 minutes more.

 

Shut the oven off. Add the cheese to the Cheesy Oven Roasted Broccoli and let it sit for a few minutes in the oven and your done!

Cheesy Oven Roasted Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 2 small heads broccoli crowns, sliced
  • sea salt, peeper to taste
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • cup asiago or mozzarella or monetery jack cheese more or less to your liking
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  • Wash broccoli and let dry.
    Preheat oven to 375
    Cut into planks, Place on baking sheet  and season with sea salt, pepper and garlic powder. Drizzle with olive oil.
    Place in a preheated 375 oven for 10-15 minutes. Keep an eye on the broccoli you don't want it to burn. Always check it at the 10 minute mark!
    Flip broccoli and bake 5 minutes more. Shut off oven and add cheese. sprinkle over broccoli and let it sit in oven a few minutes just so it starts getting melty.
