Combine the flour, salt, and baking powder and set it aside.
In a large bowl cream together the oil, butter, and sour cream until combined.
Combine the wet and dry ingredients until a dough forms.
Use a cookie scoop to place cookie dough balls on a baking tray. Then bake for 8 minutes in a 350-degree preheated oven. Cool.
Cream the butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla in a large bowl then add the half and half until you get a thick frosting that you can spread.
Once the cookies are completely cooled, frost the cookies and then sprinkle with frosting. Allow the frosting to harden slightly before serving.

Ingredients
- 4 ½ cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- ½ cup butter softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 ½ cups sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- Frosting:
- ½ cup butter softened
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons half n half
- 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla
- Sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- In a small bowl, whisk the flour, salt and baking powder and set it aside.
- In a large bowl, beat the oil, butter and sour cream until creamy.
- Add in the sugar and vanilla and beat until well mixed.
- Add in the dry ingredients and beat until all ingredients are combined.
- Use a cookie scoop and make balls about ¾” big and place on a baking tray about an inch apart.
- Spray the bottom of a glass and use it to gently press down to slightly flatten the cookies.
- Bake for 8 minutes and remove and let cool on a cooling rack.
- Repeat until all cookies are baked.
- Once the cookies are cooled, to make the frosting beat the butter, powdered sugar and vanilla.
- Add in the half and half in small increments until you get a frosting thick enough to spread on the cookies.
- Use a small offset spatula and swirl frosting on the top of each cookie and decorate with sprinkles of choice!
