We always have friends asking for jello shot recipes.  This one is incredibly  simple to make and so festive.  There is something about having fun holiday food and drink at a party.  It sure does keep things interesting. 

Did you ever throw a party where you ask people to bring two dishes? One regular dish they would normally bring and then something they have never made before or something they would never think of making. It doesn’t have to be fancy or over the top but it sure does keep things interesting and it gives you a chance to try different foods you may not have thought of trying before.  

These Holiday Jello Shots are a cinch to make.  You will get about 16 Jello shots from this recipe. It can easily be doubled.

Ingredients

• 2 cups boiling water
• 1 6 oz. package of flavored green gelatin (jello)
• ¾ cup Captain Morgan apple smash liquor
• ¾ cup Crown Royal
• whip cream, candy red hots, and mint for leaves
• small plastic jell-o cups with lids

Instructions

• 1.Heat 2 cups water until it boils, pour in bowl and mix in green jello until dissolved.

  2.Add 3/4 cup Captain Morgan and Crown royal. Stir to combine

  3. Pour into shot cups.

  4. Put in fridge to set overnight.

  5. Garnish with whip cream, candy red hots, and mint for leaves
