🔪 How to Make This Melting Potatoes Recipe
Making this simple dish is easy. Just follow these step-by-step instructions and you will have a delicious recipe to pair with your favorite entree in no time at all.
Step 1: Preheat the oven and prepare your potatoes
Preheat the oven to 500 degrees. Peel and slice the potatoes into thick ½” slices.
Step 2: Season and bake the potatoes
Melt the butter in a large bowl, and toss the potatoes, thyme, salt, and pepper to thoroughly coat the potatoes. Place in a single layer on a baking tray with sides. Bake for about 15 minutes until one side is golden brown.
Step 3: Make the lemon garlic mixture
While they bake, squeeze the lemon juice into a measuring cup and grate the garlic using a microplane. Add in the broth and stir.
Step 4: Finish baking the potatoes
After 15 minutes, turn each potato slice over pour the garlic/lemon mixture over the top of the potatoes, and return them to the oven to bake for another 10-15 minutes, until they are golden brown. Remove and serve. Sprinkle with extra thyme for garnish if desired.
