- In a medium sized bowl, mix together the cream cheese, cheese, sour cream, peppers, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
- Lay the sourdough slices out and spread one side with mayonnaise.
- Flip it over and add about ¼ of the pimento cheese mixture and spread it over the slice of bread. Top it with another slice and bread and spread a layer of mayonnaise over the top of the bread, so the mayonnaise is on the outer side of the sandwich.
- Fry each sandwich about 2-3 minutes, each side, flipping halfway through so both sides brown evenly and the inside melts. Serve immediately.

Ingredients
- 8 slices sourdough bread
- 2 Tablespoons cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese
- ⅓ cup mayonnaise
- 1 Tablespoon sour cream
- 4 ounces pimento peppers drained
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Heat a flat frying pan over medium heat.
- In a medium sized bowl, mix together the cream cheese, cheese, sour cream, peppers, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
- Lay the sourdough slices out and spread one side with mayonnaise. Flip it over and add about ¼ of the pimento cheese mixture and spread it over the slice of bread. Top it with another slice and bread and spread a layer of mayonnaise over the top of the bread, so the mayonnaise is on the outer side of the sandwich.
- Place the sandwich onto the heated frying pan and continue making the remainder of the sandwiches.
- Fry each sandwich about 2-3 minutes, each side, flipping halfway through so both sides brown evenly and the inside melts.
