We happen to love the flavor that the pepperoncini peppers give but, if you don’t like them so much just the flavor of them being in the dish is a big bonus. You don’t have to eat them. Some family members would rather not but they love the flavor they give.

Ingredients
- 1 ½ lb boneless chicken breasts
- 4 yukon gold potatoes cubed or sliced
- 3-4 carrots sliced
- ½ cup butter 1 stick
- 1 pkg hidden valley ranch dressing dry seasoning
- 1 pkg au jus
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 4-8 pepperoncini peppers add as many as you like
Instructions
- Grease your slow cooker if you wishPlace cubed potatoes and carrots on the bottom and pour in the chicken broth on topPlace chicken breasts on top of the potatoes and carrotsSprinkle the ranch seasoning over the chicken, then the package of au jusPlace the stick of butter on the very top of everything. Place the pepperoncini peppers around butter Cover and let cook on low for 7 hours or until the potatoes and carrots are soft and cooked throughRemove the chicken breasts and shred them with two forks, and then return them to the slow cooker. Mix everything well and serve. Serve as is or serve chicken on rolls with veggies on the sides.
