Don’t forget to serve with your  favorite sides; baked beans, mac and cheese or whatever your favorite side might be.

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork is so simple a combination of ingredients that you rub and massage into the pork making sure you cover all the pork shoulder. The rub is simple to make just throw everything into a bowl and mix,

Rub the mixture all over the meat making sure it is  covered well.

I also like to add apple cider vinegar to my pulled pork. I find it makes it extra tender. And it gives it just a bit of extra taste it needs.

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork also will make amazing nachos! Well seriously pulled pork goes good on anything. Baked potatoes, pizza anything you want really.

This is a huge hit at a potluck, family gathering or BBQ’s. It goes a long way and everyone can make their own sandwich if you like. Remember this makes a bunch since your using about a 12 -15 lb. pork shoulder butt roast. It will fill up your slow cooker!

Once it’s cooked drain the drain the extra fat, water and vinegar from the slow cooker. Use a set of tongs to pull the roast apart and make long shreds. Add 1/2 to full bottle of BBQ sauce and mix.

I will usually make sliders and have topping on the side. This way everyone can add what they like. Just in a bowl with a fork is would be good enough for me. I like extra BBQ sauce on mine.

If your making this for just the family it will make a lot. Any extras will freeze well. Put them in a airtight container and defrost in the fridge overnight. I personally love cooking “big” food as I call it.

I love having food I can freeze for nights we just don’t feel like cooking. When we make meatloaf we will usually double the recipe so we can freeze half for another night. It works out great for when you just need a night off or things come up and you just don’t have the time to cook a meal and don’t want take out.
