Nacho Cheese Ball

This nacho cheese ball takes the classic party food to a zesty new level with taco seasoning and crushed Doritos. It's tasty and unexpected.

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded taco blend cheese
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • ¼ cup green onion finely chopped
  • 1 cup crushed nacho cheese Doritos
  • Additional green onion for garnish optional

Instructions

  • Stir together the cream cheese and sour cream until well combined.
  • Add the shredded cheese, taco seasoning, and green onion. Stir to combine.
  • Grease your hands with nonstick cooking spray and mold the cheese mixture into a ball.
  • Tightly wrap the ball in plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator to chill for at least one hour.
  • When ready to serve, place the Doritos in a large bag and use a rolling pin to crush the chips
  • Open the bag and place the cheese ball inside, rolling it around to cover the ball in crushed Doritos.
  • Transfer the ball to a serving platter and garnish with green onion before serving.
