Valentine's White Chocolate Rice Krispie Treats

Equipment

  • large pan
  • 9x13 baking dish
  • heart cookie cutter

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 10 ounces mini marshmallows 10 oz bag
  • 6 cups Kellogg’s Krispies cereal
  • 8 ounces white candy melts or almond bark
  • Red food coloring
  • Red pink and/or white sprinkles

Instructions

  • In a large pan, melt butter. Once butter is melted slowly add mini marshmallows, stirring until marshmallows are fully melted.
  • Add in a couple of drops of red food coloring until you reach the desired color.
  • Add in Rice Krispies cereal and stir until all cereal is coated with the melted marshmallows.
  • Evenly press Rice Krispies into a 9x13 pan coated with non stick spray.
  • Use a heart cookie cutter coated with cooking spray to cut into heart shapes. Allow to cool completely.
  • Melt candy almond bark according to package directions. Dip each heart halfway into melted candy.
  • Sprinkle tops of the candy coated portion with red or pink sprinkles. Place on wax paper to cool and set.
  • Enjoy!
