These Bisquick sausage balls are a super easy way to make a classic appetizer. They're loaded with sausage and cheese and served with gravy.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Bisquick
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 Pound ground breakfast Sausage
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

For the Gravy:

  • ¼ cup butter
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Stir together the Bisquick, milk, sausage, and cheese until well combined.
  • Form the mixture into balls and place the meatballs in a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until cooked through.
  • While the meatballs cook, heat the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  • When the butter is melted, add the flour and whisk to combine. Continue whisking until the mixture begins to brown.
  • Slowly add the milk to the pan, whisking continuously. Allow the gravy to simmer for 5 to 10 minutes, whisking constantly, until thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve the meatballs with gravy for dipping.
