Lemon Cake Mix Bars

These lemon cake mix bars are as easy as they are delicious. They're tender, moist, and full of sweet and tangy lemon flavor.

Ingredients

  • 16.75 ounces Angel Food Cake Mix I used Betty Crocker - Confetti Angel Food
  • 21 ounces Lemon Pie Filling
  • Powdered Sugar - to top if desired
  • Whipped Cream - to top if desired

Instructions

  • Place the Angel Food Cake Mix in a large bowl.
  • Open the can of Lemon Pie Filling, and add the Pie Filling to the Cake Mix.
  • Stir together until well mixed, and no cake mix is visible.
  • The Batter will be fluffy, and foam up a little.
  • Pour into a 9 X 13 dish (un-greased) and bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
  • The Cake will rise above the dish in the oven, but will settle when removed.
  • When the Cake is done, remove from the Oven to a wire rack, and allow to cool completely.
  • Sprinkle with Powdered Sugar, and cut into 3 X3 inch squares.
  • Serve, and Enjoy!
