Copycat Red Lobster Shrimp Scampi

This copycat Red Lobster shrimp scampi is full of delicious flavors. You might even love it more than the original!

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds Large shrimp peeled and deveined with tails on
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 8 tablespoons Butter divided
  • 1 tablespoon Minced garlic
  • cup White wine
  • Juice from 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • cup Grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped parsley

Instructions

  • Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium high heat.
  • Season the shrimp with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add the shrimp to the heated skillet, and saute until cooked through.
  • Remove the shrimp from the skillet and reduce the heat to medium.
  • Melt 2 tablespoons of the butter in the skillet.
  • Stir in the garlic, and saute for 30 seconds.
  • Pour in the white cooking wine and lemon juice, and simmer until the liquid is reduced by half.
  • Mix in the rest of the butter until melted.
  • Stir in the Italian seasoning and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Return the shrimp to the skillet, and toss to coat well in the sauce.
  • Add the parmesan to the skillet, and stir to combine.
  • Garnish with parsley before serving.
