Cherry Chocolate Fudge

This Cherry Chocolate Fudge is a white chocolate base that is filled with chopped cherries, and Oreo cookies for a beautiful and festive sweet treat.

Equipment

  • parchment paper
  • Microwave Safe Bowl 
  • Rubber spatula

Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 8 Oreo cookies broken in half
  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 ½ cups White Chocolate
  • 1 cup chopped maraschino cherries
  • ½ cup Maraschino Cherry juice

Instructions

  • Spray a 9-inch square pan with cooking spray, and line the bottom with parchment paper.
  • Place the flour in a microwave safe bowl, and microwave the flour until it's hot, about 1 1/2 minutes. Add the salt to the bowl and mix until smooth.
  • Melt the Butter and White Chocolate in the microwave at 10 second intervals, stirring between, until melted. Stir well. Add Sugar and stir to blend until smooth.
  • Add the Eagle-brand milk to the melted white chocolate mixture, and stir until smooth. Add the Maraschino Cherries, and Cherry juice, and stir well.
  • Pour half of the Fudge mixture into the square pan, and press evenly into the pan with a spatula, or the back of a large spoon. Add the broken Oreo's on top of the fudge, and pour the remaining Fudge mixture on top, and smooth with a spatula. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or longer if needed, until the fudge is firm, and set.
