Ingredients
3cupssugar
1 ½cupbuttersoftened
5eggs
1tablespoonvanilla
½teaspoonalmond extract
½teaspooncoconut extract
3cupsflour
1cupwhole milk
For the glaze:
1cuppowdered sugar
2tablespoonsmelted butter
¼teaspoonvanilla
¼teaspooncoconut extract
¼teaspoonalmond extract
2-3tablespoonswhole milk
pinch of salt optional
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.
In a large bowl, cream the butter. Add in the sugar and cream for 3 minutes. Add in the eggs, one at a time and beat. Add in the extracts and mix well.
Alternate adding the flour with the milk, beginning and ending with the flour. Use a spatula to scrape down the sides between additions.
Once the batter is fully mixed, pour into a 10” bundt pan that has been well sprayed with baking spray containing flour.
Place in the oven and bake for 1 hr and 20-25 minutes, until a toothpick comes out cleanly.
Place on a rack to allow to cool for 10 minutes before inverting on a rack to completely cool.
To make the glaze:
Stir together the melted butter, powdered sugar and extracts. Add in the milk a little at a time to achieve the desired consistency.
Drizzle it over the cooled cake. Slice and enjoy!
