Equipment

  • 9x13 baking dish
  • sharp knife
  • small bowl
  • pastry brush or bbq brush

Ingredients

  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 pound chicken tenders cooked
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 12 slices provolone cheese
  • ¼ cup butter melted
  • 1 ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan
  • Chopped parsley for topping optional

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350° and grab a 9x13 and set aside. Using a knife cut the whole entire thing of rolls in half. Place the bottom half in the baking dish and set the top half aside. Add 6 slices of provolone cheese to the bottom half.
  • Lightly shred the chicken tenders with your hands and place them on top of the cheese. Top with marinara all over. Add 6 more slices of provolone cheese on top. Top with the top buns.
  • In a small bowl add the butter, salt, garlic and parmesan and mix together and brush the tops of the buns with the butter mixture. Place in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes. Or until the top is slightly golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • Remove from the oven and slice and serve!
