butter

sugar

brown sugar

vanilla

flour

cornstarch

baking soda

teaspoon
salt

dark chocolate bar
Optional: Sea salt flakes
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, beat the butter, sugar and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.
Add in the eggs one at a time, thoroughly mixing each egg into the batter.
Add in the vanilla and mix.
In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, salt and baking soda.
Add it to the butter mixture and stir until well combined.
On a cutting board, cut up the chocolate into small chunks.
Stir into the cookie batter until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
Using a cookie scoop, roll into balls a generous tablespoon size and place on a cookie sheet about 2-3” apart.
Bake for 12-13 minutes. Remove and immediately sprinkle with sea salt and let cool.
