Ingredients
5ouncesLittle Debbie Christmas Tree Cakesyou will need 14 cakes
6ouncescheesecake instant pudding mix
3cupsmilk
12ouncescool whip - thawed
Red gel writing icing
Green sanding sugar
Red food coloring
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the pudding and milk, until smooth.
Add half of the cool whip, and whisk until combined.
To layer the trifle, create the bottom layer by breaking 6 of the Christmas tree cakes into large chunks, and lining the bottom of the bowl.
Add half of the pudding mixture for the 2nd layer, and smooth out evenly.
Make a second layer of Christmas tree cakes with the 6 remaining cakes.
Add another layer of the pudding.
Top with the remaining cool whip.
Use the red gel writing icing to draw stripes on the trifle, like those that are on the Christmas tree cakes.
Sprinkle with green sanding sugar.
If desired, top the trifle with two extra Christmas tree cakes.
