Cookies and cream cookies are soft and chewy and loaded Cookies 'N Cream baking chips. They're easy to make and hard to stop eating!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 3 ½ cups flour
  • 8.5 ounces Cookies n Cream mix-ins

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prep your cookie sheets by lining them with parchment paper or spraying them with non-stick spray, set aside.
  • In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine the soft butter and cream cheese. Mix well.
  • Add in the sugars, salt, baking powder, and cream of tartar. Cream until fluffy.
  • Mix in the egg and vanilla extract and combine well. Stop the mixer and scrape down the sides, then mix again.
  • Add in the flour and mix on low speed for about a minute and then medium for another minute. Scrape down sides if needed.
  • Add in the cookies and cream mix-ins and fold by hand until thoroughly combined.
  • Scoop out golf ball-sized dough mounds and flatten them slightly into a disc shape. Leave enough space around each cookie for spreading while baking.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 8-10 minutes or until edges are set and just slightly browned. Allow to cool on a baking sheet for 5-10 minutes before removing.
