Copycat Cheddar Bay Biscuits
These copycat Red Lobster Cheddar Bay biscuits are soft, cheesy, garlicky versions of the original you can make at home in just minutes.

flour

sugar

baking powder

garlic powder

kosher salt

cayenne pepper

buttermilk

butter
melted
1 ½
cups
shredded sharp cheddar cheese

butter
melted
½
teaspoon
garlic powder
Parsley for garnish
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, garlic powder, salt and cayenne pepper.
Add the shredded cheese in.
To the mixture add the buttermilk and ½ cup melted butter.
Use a wooden spoon to make sure all the ingredients are combined.
Divide the dough into 6 or 8 equal pieces depending on how big you want them.
Roll the dough into equal balls and flatten slightly into a biscuit shape.
Place on prepared baking tray.
Place into oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from oven.
Mix together the 2 tablespoons melted butter and ½ teaspoon garlic powder.
Brush the biscuits with the melted butter mixture.
Top with some chopped parsley.
Serve!
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
