Creamy Garlic Shrimp

This Creamy Garlic Shrimp is a simple one pan meal, that your family will love. Packed full of tender shrimp and a creamy garlic sauce, it goes great with pasta.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp 16/21, shelled, tail on or off (your preference)
  • 3 tablespoons butter room temp
  • 3 tablespoons garlic minced
  • ½ cup lobster stock
  • 1 ½ cups half and half
  • ¾ cup parmesan cheese grated
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Season the shrimp with salt and pepper. Melt one tbs butter in the skillet and fry the shrimp on both sides for 2-3 minutes each. Remove to a plate and set aside.
  • Melt another tbsp butter in the same skillet. Add the garlic to saute for a few minutes until fragrant.
  • Add the lobster stock (or substitute) and bring to a simmer. Add the half and half.
  • When the sauce comes back to a simmer, add the grated cheese and stir into the sauce as it melts.
  • Let simmer while the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Add the shrimp back to the sauce. Stir to combine and adjust salt and pepper to taste at this time.
  • Serve over pasta.
