Ingredients
1poundshrimp16/21, shelled, tail on or off (your preference)
3tablespoonsbutterroom temp
3tablespoonsgarlicminced
½cuplobster stock
1 ½cupshalf and half
¾cupparmesan cheesegrated
salt and pepper
Instructions
Season the shrimp with salt and pepper. Melt one tbs butter in the skillet and fry the shrimp on both sides for 2-3 minutes each. Remove to a plate and set aside.
Melt another tbsp butter in the same skillet. Add the garlic to saute for a few minutes until fragrant.
Add the lobster stock (or substitute) and bring to a simmer. Add the half and half.
When the sauce comes back to a simmer, add the grated cheese and stir into the sauce as it melts.
Let simmer while the sauce thickens slightly.
Add the shrimp back to the sauce. Stir to combine and adjust salt and pepper to taste at this time.
