1 tablespoonsmoked paprika
2teaspoonsgarlic powder
2teaspoonsonion powder
1 ½teaspoonssalt
1teaspoonblack pepper
½teaspooncayenne pepper
½cupbeef brothor water
18 ouncesBBQ saucedivided
Instructions
Pat ribs dry with a paper towel and season all over with smoked paprika, garlic
powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. (If the ribs came in a
rack, slice into smaller or individual pieces so it will fit in the crockpot.)
Place the ribs into the crockpot. Pour the beef broth over the ribs and top it with
half of the BBQ sauce. Reserve the remaining half of the sauce for basting.
Cover with lid and cook for 7-8 hours on low, or until the meat is very tender.
Preheat the oven broiler and line a baking sheet with foil. Transfer the cooked ribs
onto the prepared baking sheet and brush each of the ribs with the remaining BBQ
sauce. Broil for 3-5 minutes on HIGH, or until the sauce begins to caramelize and
