14ounceskielbasa sausagesliced into thick rounds
2large russet potatoespeeled and cut into chunks
1small yellow onionsliced
2cupsfrozen green beans
½cupunsalted buttersliced
1packet Lipton onion soup mix
1 ½Cajun seasoninglike Slap Ya Mama or Tony Chachere’s
½teaspoongarlic powder
½cupwater or chicken brothoptional, for extra moisture
Instructions
Spray your crock pot with cooking spray or use a liner.
Add the potatoes and onion to the bottom.
Layer in the kielbasa and green beans.
Sprinkle in the Lipton onion soup mix, Cajun seasoning, and garlic powder.
Top everything with the sliced butter. If desired, pour in ½ cup of water or broth to create more “swampy” broth.
Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or on HIGH for 3½–4 hours, until the potatoes are fork-tender and everything is coated in buttery broth.
