This French dip pull apart bread stuffs soft Italian bread with provolone cheese, roast beef, and onions to create a delicious appetizer.

italian bread
unsliced

deli sliced roast beef

provolone
Half of a small onion
caramelized (optional)

butter
softened
½
teaspoon
garlic powder
½
teaspoon
dried parsley

beef consomme
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Slice about 10 slices into your bread, do not cut all the way through the bread!
Place the bread on to a lined baking tray.
Fold in half a slice of cheese and place into each slit in the bread.
Place 2 slices of roast beef into each slice in the bread.
Spoon some of the caramelized onion into each slice in the bread, optional.
In a small bowl combine the softened butter with the garlic powder and dried parsley.
Brush the loaf with the butter mixture.
Bake for 15 minutes until the cheese is melty.
Meanwhile mix the consomme with a can of water and warm up.
Serve the bread with the consomme for dipping.
