Equipment

  • parchment paper
  • baking sheet
  • Mixing Bowl
  • large skillet
  • small bowl
  • bbq brush

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ teaspoon ginger powder
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup honey bbq sauce
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons chili garlic sauce
  • 1 cup green
  • 3 sesame seed hamburger buns

Instructions

  • Line a medium sized tray with parchment paper and set aside. In a large bowl add the beef, garlic, ginger, soy sauce and pepper and mix together using your hands, form into 3 pattie’s about 1 inch thick. Lay the pattie’s on the parchment paper. Using a metal spoon make a dent in the tops of the burgers, so when you cook them the center doesn’t pop up.
  • In a large pan add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil(optional) and heat the pan on a medium to high heat for about 2 minutes. Place the burgers in the pan and sear them on each side for 2-4 minutes on each side. Change the parchment paper on the tray and replace with a new one. Place the cooked burgers back on the tray and brush them with the honey bbq sauce on both sides.
  • In a small bowl add the mayo, chili sauce and about a sprinkle of scallions. Mix that together and spread the mixture on the top and bottom buns. Place the burger on the bottom bun and divide the rest of the scallions and place them on top of the burgers, place the top bun on and serve and enjoy!

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days
Use red pepper flakes in the meat if you want it extra spicy!
You can cook the burgers on a grill instead.
You can use whatever buns you’d like.
